I am still battling this flu/cold/bug and feel like just staying in bed all weekend for the rest of my vacation. Yet, I had previously committed to going to Dallas this weekend. Since the usual chances of me going to Texas are slim to none, I must take this opportunity.
I have not been in Dallas for about 5 years now. I am not sure what feelings will be stirred once I am back. Texas, in general, holds some pretty diverse memories for me. I cannot even imagine what it would be like if I were to go back to my actual hometown located in the deep bowels of South Texas. I have not been there for about 12 years.
I am a different person than I was 5 years ago...but will being back in Dallas feel like it's 1999 all over again?
